Leave the road in the hairpin then 50m up, on the left, in the forest towards the Cedro. Cross the canal and go up to the pass where you find, opposite, the paved track which descends towards the village of Cedro. To the right a path goes down to the Aula de la Naturaleza (Reception Center), the paved track, to the left goes up to the Reventón Oscuro (the main road) and to the right goes down to the hamlet of Cedro and the Ermita de Ntra Sra de Lourdes.

Go down towards the Aula de la Naturaleza and walk along it. Cross the road and descend the path opposite to rejoin the main path. On the right the village of Cedro, on the left the Hermitage of Lourdes and the National Park.

Follow towards the chapel and the forest. Soon begins the National Park with its lush vegetation, up to the chapel from where, on the left in front of the chapel, the 'Path of the Politics' starts towards La Meseta and El Rejo, after crossing the track that descends to the village of Cedro. Straight, the path crosses the barranco by a small wooden bridge and goes up towards Las Mimbreras, El Contadero and the summit of Garajonay.

Leave the main path and go up the one that goes in front of the chapel. Some call it 'the policy path'. Follow until you come out on a cemented and paved track. Go up the paved track for a few hundred meters to a very tight curve from which 2 paths depart: on the left downhill towards the Aula de la Naturaleza and El Cedro, opposite downhill towards La Meseta and Hermigua. The track continues on the right towards the Reventón Oscuro.

Descend in the direction of La Meseta-Hermigua. At the end of the route follow and cross the canal then descend on a path which leads, on the left, to a tunnel which joins the hamlet of Cedro (the canal is passable with light and with your feet in the water, 15 to 20 minutes , 1.70m in height). Follow to the right until the paved road. Descend to the chestnut trees, from where on the left a path descends towards the houses of La Meseta.
